Leadership Greensboro aims to create a community full of leaders committed to inclusivity, collaboration, and the common good and provides our city with an ongoing source of diverse leaders who are committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change.

About the Program
Leadership Greensboro is a unique, three-part development program that looks to education, volunteer leadership, and alumni engagement to guide the leadership skills of participants over the course of nine months. Our alumni report they are consistently more engaged in their communities and more invested in their workplaces after completing our program.
Each year, a diverse cohort of 45 leaders from public, private and non-profit sectors make-up our 9 month program. Together you will explore important issues in our community, develop and practice strategies and tools to become a more effective leader and expand your personal and professional networks. The application period opens in spring 2023 and runs from September-May.

Impact: Action Learning Projects
Class Members participate in community-based, team learning projects to work together and partner with nonprofit organizations to impact not only the missions of those organizations but the community as a whole. Our projects have launched powerful initiatives that continue to impact Greensboro today.
