State of Our Community 2026
Wednesday, August 26
11:45 am to 1:30 pm
The State of Our Community Luncheon is one of Greensboro’s most anticipated annual events, bringing together a sold-out audience each year to explore the trends, opportunities, and ideas shaping our community’s future.
This year, we’ll take a closer look at how research, innovation, and data are helping move Greensboro forward. Hear from Tom Barkin as he joins Dr. Frank Gilliam Jr. and Dr. James R. Martin II for a fireside chat on the future of research and its impact on Greensboro. Together, they’ll discuss the research currently happening at UNC Greensboro and North Carolina A&T State University, what is coming next, and what that could mean for our community. You’ll also get a first look at the Chamber’s new data and research platform, built to give businesses and community leaders better information about the Greensboro market.
Join us for a conversation about the work happening today and how it could shape Greensboro for years to come.
