ABOUT
Eye Consults provides Independent Medical Eye Exams (IME) for work-related eye injuries. Sandy Thimmappa-Cohen MD at Eye Consults is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Cornea Specialist/Ophthalmologist. She will provide an objective assessment of the current eye condition, including additional treatments that may be needed and whether the current medical injury is at MMI. As part of the IME exam, we review all relevant medical records and summarize the pertinent findings in an extensive report. The IME evaluation can be used to resolve questions about medical conditions for purposes of a workers’ compensation claim. We also offer 2nd opinion services for individuals with eye-related medical issues. Our mission is to help individuals seek the most up-to-date and advanced eye treatment to maximize their vision.
