Carolina Digital Phone, Inc. is a North Carolina corporation incorporated as a private company formed in 2000, and has been in the hosted VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) business since its inception. Our primary corporate office is at 301 S. Elm Street, Suite 601, Greensboro, NC 27401. We have focused our products and services to best fit educational clients, government agencies, and enterprise customers. Our services have matured in the delivery method and underlying technology tenfold over the past 18 years. Today, our primary focus is on cloud-hosted applications, with telephone services being the lion’s share of our business, and education and government being the fastest-growing segment of our company.
Our mission statement states that we will be the best at providing superior technology solutions for organizations to communicate with their customers. In order to provide the best experience for our customers, we stand by our commitment to provide the best customer service anywhere. We are local, serving North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, and we know about the communities and the needs of the people we serve. Since we are locally owned and operated, we provide personalized service that larger companies just cannot. VoIP is our only business and we concentrate all of our efforts on constantly improving our customers’ experience. By providing state-of-the-art services and flexibility, we help our customers focus on growing their business instead of spending time troubleshooting inferior equipment and service.
Our Founder and CEO, Nicky Smith, was born in Chapel Hill and grew up in Winston-Salem. After college, he settled in Greensboro. Nicky has always had the drive to be the very best at what he does. As a lifelong Eagle Scout, he has always lived by these principles. He is a family first person and long-time member of Christ United Methodist Church. He has always believed in giving back to the community.
Having been in this area for many years, Carolina Digital Phone believes that now, more than ever, Greensboro is one of the best places to live and work. The new influx of industry from aviation to cutting-edge technology will spur growth in the area for years to come. It is also important that Greensboro and the Triad continue to grow culturally.
