Building Connections

Building Relationships, Building Business, Building Success

Our members have identified networking as the number one reason they joined the Chamber and the top priority for their membership. We believe that it is essential to go beyond traditional networking and to focus on connections. Being a part of the largest business organization in the ‘boro puts you in the same room as CEOs, business owners and potential customers.  And as our region grows, our Chamber community is where the connections are made.

Coffee & Conversation, sponsored by Cone Health, brings networking and educational programming together on the third Thursday of the month at Sagewell Health & Fitness. Large and small businesses and organizations come together to hear about topics covering the full range of the Chamber’s programming; including Amplifying Greensboro-Centric Agendas, Developing Talent, Driving Economic Development, Championing local Entrepreneurs, Making Long-Term Connections, Engaging Our Membership, and Telling Our Story. City and countywide initiatives are discussed, as well as topics that are chosen specifically for the community. Members and non-members are welcomed!

Networking is not a personality characteristic—it can be learned. Make your professional relationship-building more effective and efficient by joining the Chamber team and Ambassadors for quarterly Networking Bootcamps. We will engage in training and table discussions throughout lunch as we make strategic connections and prepare for upcoming events. The September boot camp will feature the WE Connect women’s networking group.
