5140 Dunstan Road

ABOUT

“Fellowship Hall is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) alcohol and drug treatment center for adult women and men. For nearly 50 years, we have offered evidence-based treatment options based on a twelve-step philosophy, helping our guests find the path to recovery.

We were the first licensed specialty hospital in North Carolina and have served more than 27,000 guests and their families. Our continuum of care meets individuals where they are in the progression of their addiction disease.

Recovery is a lifelong process, and we work hard to give our guests the best start possible.”

Why Greensboro?

“Fellowship Hall opened our doors in December 1971 thanks to the compassion and vision of Zander McAlister, Henry Armfield, Willard Pegg and Robert Shepard — four Greensboro businessmen who were driven to save the lives of suffering alcoholics. They chose a farm property in Greensboro that offered a peaceful setting with room to grow.

Since 1971, Fellowship Hall has expanded multiple times on our 120-acre campus which includes our specialty hospital, outpatient center, extended lodge, women’s lodge and five transitional houses.”

How has the Chamber impacted your business?

“Our Chamber membership has helped us to build awareness for our organization in Greensboro and the Triad. As Greensboro’s population continues to change with newcomers from all around the globe, we believe the Chamber helps us keep our community informed on who we are, what we do and how we may be of service.”
