Meet the Connections Cohort
Once a month, we’re introducing you to a member of our inaugural Connections Cohort — a group of minority- and women-owned businesses who have received a free year of Chamber membership. This initiative is in memory of our coworker Kathi Lester, who dedicated her life to building bridges between the business community and underrepresented groups.
About
“Lady Bizness is a marketing company that focuses on helping people start and grow their businesses with our unique style of facilitation, business development, branding.
We focus on women-owned, black-owned, and nonprofit organizations and teach primarily throughout the state of NC.
In addition, we have created NC’s first black woman-owned podcast studio, PodBiz Studios, which helps us to enhance our multimedia offerings to clients in the Triad.”
Why Greensboro?
“Greensboro has been my home for the last 15 years. I started the company here because the business scene at the time was lacking in the area of using social media as a primary marketing tool. I found that training and actually doing the marketing for companies was a niche that really helps businesses grow. I also love the fact that Greensboro sits in the middle of the state and provides access to Raleigh, Durham, and Charlotte which are my other main hubs of operation.”
