Luck Davidson (Triad Local First) is the Board Chair at Triad Local First, after serving five years as Executive Director. Triad Local First is a nonprofit membership organization based in Greensboro, North Carolina, that promotes local, independently owned businesses and a diverse, vibrant economy.
Before her time at Triad Local First, Davidson served as Executive Director at the Guilford Green Foundation.
From 2003 to 2009, she was Fundraising and Development committee chair at The National Conference for Community and Justice of the Piedmont Triad. She also held several leadership positions on the Board of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, including Strategic Planning Committee chair and Grants Committee chair.
Davidson worked on the Board of Visitors at Greensboro College in North Carolina from 2000 to 2003, and spent six years on the Greensboro Human Relations Commission, where she built and maintained relationships with local schools.
Prior to her volunteer work, Davidson worked on several political campaigns, including acting as coordinator of the door-to-door campaign for Kay Hagan’s North Carolina Senate campaign in 1998.
Davidson has balanced her professional career with her home life since she graduated from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies. She currently lives in Greensboro with her three children.
