OCTOBER 6, 2017 | GUILFORD APPRENTICESHIP PARTNERS AND GUILFORD COUNTY SCHOOLS TO HOST TOURS
(Greensboro, NC) — In celebration of National Manufacturing Month (October) and National Apprenticeship Month (November), Guilford Apprenticeship Partners (GAP) and Guilford County Schools are happy to announce a new opportunity for Guilford County students.
GAP is providing 25-30 students from each high school with the opportunity to tour and have lunch at local advanced manufacturing plants to learn more about the company, job opportunities available to them, and the GAP program.
“This experience will expose GCS students to high need/high wage employment opportunities in an exciting workplace right in their own backyard. Students will learn how the relevance of their high school and post-secondary studies can translate into a lifelong career.
