During COVID-19, we have converted our various pieces of training online. We have just partnered with ApprenticeshipNC and GuilfordWorks as their pre-apprenticeship training service provider for the Computer Support Specialist position. Our organization provides pre-screening, vetting and entry-level I.T. Fundamentals certification for interested participants seeking to pursue a career in the I.T. field. Our virtual interest meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 30th at 11:00 a.m. Registration is required. When I moved here to Greensboro in 2001, I was blessed to obtain a grant with a local I.T. training company. This grant allowed me to acquire my A+, Net+, MCSA & MCSE certifications. I was compelled to pay it forward and the Nehemiah Center was birthed. Greensboro is a perfect place for our business because of its diversity, the city’s commitment to see businesses and residents to succeed. It allows us to reach those most in need of our services.
