He also created the Triad Beverage Alliance, which educates bartenders and is affiliated with the U.S. Bartenders Guild. Giaimo is a lecturer in UNC-Greensboro’s Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality, and Tourism. He has donated time and resources to numerous local organizations, including Guilford Green Foundation, the Greensboro Jewish Federation and the Junior League of Greensboro. Gia, Drink. Eat. Listen: Gia serves up live, local musical fare for its patrons every Thursday and Saturday nights. In addition to providing a venue that supports local musicians, owner Nino Giaimo generously donates his culinary talents and restaurant to support many Greensboro Symphony fundraisers.
