Nino Giaimo
Owner | GIA Drink Eat Listen

The restaurateur, who opened GIA in 2012, is also a hotelier. Giaimo owns La Quinta Inn & Suites near Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, which opened in November. He also created the Triad Beverage Alliance, which educates bartenders and is affiliated with the U.S. Bartenders Guild. Giaimo is a lecturer in UNC-Greensboro’s Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality, and Tourism. He has donated time and resources to numerous local organizations, including Guilford Green Foundation, the Greensboro Jewish Federation and the Junior League of Greensboro. Friends say he works hard to cultivate a hub for rising food and beverage professionals in the Triad. Nino holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from East Carolina University.

From ArtsGreensboro:
Gia, Drink. Eat. Listen: Gia serves up live, local musical fare for its patrons every Thursday and Saturday nights. In addition to providing a venue that supports local musicians, owner Nino Giaimo generously donates his culinary talents and restaurant to support many Greensboro Symphony fundraisers.
