Marty Kotis
President and CEO | Kotis Holdings
He is the President and CEO of Kotis Holdings and has years of experience in commercial real estate, technology, and restaurant development. Kotis entered the business at the young age of 17 when he acquired his real estate license. He grew up on job sites and learned the business by drawing on the lessons of his successes and his failures. Kotis Properties owns, develops, constructs, and manages retail properties throughout North Carolina. It focuses on upscale specialty shopping centers, restaurants, food-store anchored neighborhood centers, and regional shopping centers. Kotis is also very active in the community and is a mission leader and mentor for Dustin’s Greenhouse, Hands at Work South Africa, and Entrepreneurship Mentoring Program. He is a board member and past president of RARE Connection. Most recently, he was involved in working with artists to enhance the local Greensboro community through street art projects. He has facilitated 38 street art installations and plans to continue lending his support to projects that touch the spirit of the community. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro
