Get to know RiverRun International Film Festival!

RiverRun International Film Festival is a regional event based in Winston-Salem, NC and is one of the premier film festivals in the southeastern United States. The 21st annual RiverRun will be held April 4-14, 2019 in 6 venues across Winston-Salem and Greensboro. In addition to the annual Festival, RiverRun hosts numerous film screenings throughout the year for our local communities.

We are seeking to expand our footprint and increase what we offer to our Piedmont Triad community. Through the chamber, we have gained new community partners which include UNCG — where we now present our ITVS Indie lens Pop-Up screenings throughout the year.

Did you know?

RiverRun Retro hosts a screening of the 1949 classic Holiday Affair, with star Gordon Gebert as the special guest for an on-stage, pre-film conversation about his career and the making of this yuletide classic in which he portrays Janet Leigh’s son. The Retro will take place Saturday, November 17, at 3:00 pm at a/perture cinema, in Winston-Salem with a reception afterward. Other RiverRun Retros throughout the year will include screenings at RED Cinemas in Greensboro.
